I’m a web developer based in Belgium. I share my time working between calibrate and codana.

I started doing web development in summer of 2008, and I’ve mostly worked with PHP as a backend language since.

Starting in 2012, I picked up Drupal as a CMS and I’ve stuck with that community.
I picked up a few responsabilities in that community since, mostly with Search API and Facets modules in particular.

Currently my open source focus is spent around config validation in Drupal Core, or as part of the Drupal User Group Belgium.

I am a part of the board of Drupal Belgium User Group Association (DUGBE vzw).
As a part of that group, I helped organise some events: Drupal Dev Days Leuven (2025), Drupal Dev Days in Ghent (2020; moved to 2022), as well as Drupal Camps (Ghent 2019, 2024, 2026). When I was in my early 20s, I helped organise a festival, which still happens as bprock.be.

I’ve spoken at a few conferences around Europe.
